Grain of Life (Trailer)

Grain of Life is a poetic documentary about a woman’s transformation into a mother, interwoven with the wheat’s cycle of growth. Spring’s new life, summer’s first touch, and autumn’s playful childhood are bound by a loaf of bread the filmmaker bakes with her son. Through a mosaic of images and an intimate inner voice, the film explores motherhood’s loss of personal and creative identity and asks: Is it possible to create when a mother is born?
